This case is perfect for the Z Flip 5. It's solid, and has a softer feel. It won't prevent your phone from completely sliding off the table like a nice silicone case does, but it definitely does a better job than a slippery plastic one. I do wish that it protected the cameras a little better, as they sit flush with the case. The pre-installed screen protector is a great addon, but it's a serious fingerprint magnet. It doesn't separate from the case, so make sure you remove any protector you may already have installed.The hinge protector does a great job, as it covers the entire thing. Unlike some other cases with one, it's not removable, and has springs to keep everything in place. At first I thought it was going to get in the way, since it prevents the phone from lying flat, but it's really grown on me. It keeps it propped up a little, which can make it a little easier to see the screen. It also makes holding onto it during phone calls much easier. The included kickstand is thin and fragile, like all cases with them are. However, this one has an extra slider which helps to hold it up and makes it feel stronger.Now comes the only bad part...DO NOT FOLLOW THE INCLUDED PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They are seriously incorrect, and could result in damage to your phone. They show that you should put the case on from the bottom, while having the phone open, which is all wrong. You need to have it closed, then put the back half on first, pressing it down FROM THE CORNER BY THE CAMERAS. Doing it any other way will prevent it from locking into place. I highly recommend watching the videos on the item's Amazon page. There are 5 of them, and you'll want to watch the last one which gives the proper instructions.All in all, I really like this case, and will probably stick with it until it's time for a new phone!
